Site analytics
ScanLedger uses a self-hosted visit counter running on this site’s own server. It records aggregate page-view counts and does not set third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share this data with an outside analytics network. No personally identifying profile is built from this data.
Affiliate links
If a review contains affiliate links, they will be identified in that review. A destination site may set cookies or collect data under its own privacy policy when you follow a link. ScanLedger does not control that site’s data handling.
Contact and comments
A public contact channel for ScanLedger is being confirmed; see Contact for current status. If a channel becomes available, any message and address you send will be kept only to respond to it and to maintain a record of corrections. If comment submission is enabled on a post, WordPress stores the name, email and message you submit, along with your IP address and browser user-agent string, to help detect spam; an anonymized hash of your email may be checked against the Gravatar service to display an avatar, per Gravatar’s own privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy.
Cookies
Beyond a session cookie WordPress may set if you log in to this site (not applicable to ordinary readers) and an optional comment-convenience cookie if you submit a comment, ScanLedger does not set marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can browse ScanLedger without submitting any personal information. To ask what data we hold about you, or to request its deletion, see the current contact status on our Contact page. Most browsers let you block cookies entirely in their settings; doing so will not affect your ability to read reviews.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page. Material changes affecting how affiliate links or analytics work will be reflected here before they take effect.
